Róisín O Meadhra b.1974 is an Irish artist based in Wicklow.

“I have two main areas of interest in my art practice:

I draw inspiration from our collective cultural heritage past, my work seeks to create visual interpretations to record artefacts through a contemporary lens. My curiosity is also peaked by traditional techniques and natural processes of making paint and ink.
My work as a visual artist naturally takes me to work in collaboration with small community groups, discovering their stories and working with them to explore the impact those stories could have on the wider community. “
